Harpers Hall makes its home in the San Francisco South Bay Area and Central California Coast. Our purpose is to promote an appreciation of the folk harp, to cultivate its living musical tradition, and to preserve the fun and magic of the harp for members and for the general public. To that end, we hold numerous events throughout the year, from harp jams to house concerts, festival performances to yearly weekend retreats. Journey through Harpers Hall to discover an enchanting world of harpers and learn their songs and their stories. Here you will meet many of the revelers, see the various lands they travel to, and find out how to join.

Subscribe to join Harpers Hall!

Harpers Hall folk enjoy playing great music and feasting on fabulous food. But every once in a while, we have to get down to official business. We are a not-for-profit organization with all the usual trimmings of such a group. We actively recruit participants, elect officers, and distribute newsletters. But mostly, we just have a good time!

Annual Subscriptions are $15 for one calendar year - January 1 through December 31. You will receive our quarterly publication The Reel Fling as an email attachment. You will also be invited to join our IO Group list, which will give you access to other files such as music, recordings, and event flyers.

Ten-Year Subscriptions are available for $100.00. Here's a way to stay subscribed without having to remember to renew, in addition to a savings of $50!

Note: Lifetime Subscriptions are no longer available.

Any subscriber can update their information using the Subscriber Update Form.

Note: Print Subscriptions are no longer available starting in 2026. The final printed Fling will be the November 2025 Fling.

Use the Subscription Form for joining and renewing your subscription. Please print out the Subscription Form and mail it with your to our PO Box (listed on the form).
